I’ve been testing the Oppo Find X2 Pro’s upgraded camera tech for a few days now and here’s a full review of the photo and video quality. Note that the Find X2 Pro isn’t set for release until April 2020, and so updates to the software are likely. But this should give you an idea of what Oppo’s flagship is capable of, from the periscope zoom to that impressive night mode.
That primary lens is a 48MP shooter using Sony’s fresh new IMX689 sensor, its first appearance out in the wild. You also have a 48MP ultra-wide lens, plus a 13MP periscope zoom lens which serves up a 10x hybrid zoom. Everyday photo quality is impressive on auto mode, with Pro smarts available for those who want them. You can grab great pics at night, while the portrait mode also impresses.
Colour temperature aside, you can also record great 4K video at up to 60FPS with the Oppo Find X2 Pro’s camera. The audio smarts are impressive, and you have strong image stabilisation – if you drop to Full HD resolution.
